Dr. Pearlman will perform a physical examination along with a thorough review of your medical history, and speak with you about your goals for improvement during your confidential FaceTite consultation.
If he feels there is a better treatment more suited to your needs than FaceTite, he will make a recommendation.
Dr. Pearlman performs FaceTite with patients under local anesthesia, so you will be completely comfortable during your procedure. A small, hand-held applicator delivers the radiofrequency energy with an internal electrode.
This is painless, other than the sensation of a pin-prick. This treatment lasts for 1.5 hours, with patients seeing ongoing improvements for around 3 to 6 months as new layers of collagen regenerate.
While you may experience some minimal swelling and tenderness, these symptoms will last approximately 4 to 5 days.
You can return to work and normal activities after this. FaceTite is minimally invasive and only involves the application of radiofrequency energy. Because of this, your recovery will be nothing compared to that of a traditional facelift or mini facelift.
