Full Face Skin Rejuvenation
This laser treatment adds fractional technology that allows treatment from a light peel to deep full face skin rejuvenation.
This fractionated CO2 laser makes thousands of microscopic wounds, leaving normal bridges of skin that stimulate healing and collagen production.
Results are almost comparable to a full-face resurfacing with a much shorter healing time. We can customize treatments to your skin type, desired effect, and allowable recovery period.
Since we can vary the depth of penetration of the laser, the distance between “dots” and how long we treat each area, there is excellent control over healing time and clinical results. Many patients opt for multiple treatments spaced out over a few months to reduce recovery time to less than a few days, yet with results akin to a much deeper treatment.
Treatments using this laser range from a single treatment with up to a week of a recovery period to a light treatment after which you will look like you had moderate sunburn. We can fine-tune the wattage and spacing of the penetration points.

Summer Peel
We perform summer peels every few weeks, up to 5 treatments. Since the benefits are additive, we group them as a package. If you get treated on Friday, you can be back to work Monday. You can apply makeup immediately after treatments.
Weekend Peel
A weekend peel is 3 peels. We call it weekend peel since it takes about 3 days to recover from the redness and be able to apply makeup. 3 peels can almost equal one deep or ablative laser treatment that would otherwise have 1 week or more of recovery time.
Pearl Lift®
The Pearl Lift® yields brighter, more taut and voluminous skin and is available only at Pearlman Aesthetic Surgery. This exciting fresh approach to stackable treatments offers facial rejuvenation with outstanding results that can last as long as 3 or more years. We start with Ultherapy and tightening the underlying facial structures including the SMAS and Platysma. SMAS and Platysma are the actual structures Dr. Pearlman lifts and pulls to yield maximal, yet natural results during a surgical facelift.
After we treat the deeper supporting structures of the face, we then smooth surface wrinkles with the Dot™ fractionated CO2 laser. That way we rejuvenate the skin inside and out. Treatment starts with oral and topical sedation only. Recovery time depends on the depth of skin resurfacing with the Dot™ laser chosen (see above).
Nothing can substitute for a full facelift and ablative CO2 laser resurfacing; but for those who do not want surgery and prolonged healing and downtime, the Pearl Lift® is for you.
Madonna Eye Lift
This technique improves wrinkles around the eyes and dark circles, tightens and elevates the eyelids. The Madonna Lift gained popularity because of its namesake. It uses the Co2 laser to treat upper and lower eyelid skin. Treatments take less than 10 minutes (after we apply topical anesthesia for 15 minutes). We treat patients from 3 to 5 times once every 6 weeks. After each treatment, most patients can return to work or their daily activities in 3 days. Depending on how each individual patient heals after the first treatment and how much recovery time they can afford. You can plan subsequent treatments accordingly.
Full Face and Neck Laser Fractionated Resurfacing
For those who are ready for a more aggressive treatment with up to a week of recovery, we can use the laser to perform full face and neck resurfacing.

Before you receive CO2 laser resurfacing in NYC at Pearlman Aesthetic Surgery, we always recommend a skin consultation.
During this, we will examine your skin, discuss your specific goals and concerns, and your expectations from a Fractionated CO2 laser treatment. These factors help us determine the best treatment plan for you.
The procedure for Fractionated CO2 laser lasts 10 to 30 minutes, depending on treatment areas. We place a topical anesthetic for 20 to 30 minutes before beginning the treatment process.
Your provider will then use the device to treat your planned treatment area(s) with the CO2 laser.
Once we finish your treatment, your skin will need a certain amount for a recovery period based on the treatment version.
We will provide you with guidelines to ensure that your skin heals in the best manner possible.

Does CO2 laser resurfacing hurt?
With oral sedation if you have someone to escort you home. Pronox is an option where you will not need an escort home. We also use a special chilling machine, and many patients tolerate the Dot CO2 laser treatment very well.
How long does CO2 laser resurfacing take to heal?
How long your CO2 laser resurfacing takes to heal all depends on your chosen treatment type. The shorter healing times are for Summer Peel and Weekend Peel. The strongest treatment option, Full Face and Neck Deka Dot™ Laser Fractionated Resurfacing, can take up to a week to heal.
What will I look like immediately after the procedure?
Right after CO2 laser resurfacing, you will look like you’ve had a bad sunburn. This will gradually fade to reveal your beautiful results as your skin heals and rejuvenates from within.
