Leighanne McGill is a Board Certified Physician Assistant with over five years of experience specializing in laser technology, injectables, and skincare. She earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant Practice at Campbell University where she graduated with Honors. Leighanne believes that the best patient outcomes occur when patient and provider make decisions together using evidence-based methods and treatments. Leighanne stays up to date with the latest technology and research in order to deliver optimal care to her patients. Patient feedback consistently cites Leighanne’s thoroughness, dedication to answering all questions, and commitment to excellent results.

Leighanne has extensive experience operating Sciton laser devices, and injecting neuromodulators such as Botox Cosmetic. She prioritizes a natural approach with hyaluronic acid injectable fillers for volume restoration and facial enhancement. Her passions include all areas of aesthetic medicine including reversal of sun damage, acne management, and skincare education.

In keeping with her love of education, Leighanne has provided expert skin care advice for media outlets including The Washington Post, WFMY News 2, and Skincare Hero. Leighanne served on faculty for the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants training program “Essentials for Cosmetic Dermatology,” instructing her peers on use of lasers.

Her professional affiliations include: the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA); the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), where she is a fellow; and the Association for Healthcare Social Media (AHSM). She is dedicated to lifelong learning and regularly attends conferences and trainings to advance her skills.

Fun Facts

Leighanne’s favorite procedure to refresh the skin and reverse sun damage is Sciton BBL/Moxi combination treatment. Outside of the office, Leighanne enjoys walks in the park with her husband and rescue pup, Barnaby.
